What scooter and is the engine stock or modded? If it is modded, what has been done?

Stock setting for a stock carb is 1 3/8 turns out. For the bigger bore a 1/2 turn in is probably not a bad idea, but once it is running and warmed up you should adjust the mixture for the fastest idle speed then adjust the idle stop for 1800 = or - 100 RPM. No tach, then adjust is so that the rear wheel is not turning.

Did plug chops before the track......Yeah polly too lean

Not sure bout the bigger jets..but i was wandering if a whole other carb would be a good idea? yah it'd take more tuning, but it would prolly help out in the long run?

Yes, these jets will fit the Spree carb. The center 3 letters or numbers identify the product the part was originally for. So if the jet number 99101-187-0680 (the original Spree jet number) is replaced by 99112-GHB-0680, which it is. Then any GHB jets are gonna fit the Spree carb. So one rainy afternoon this last winter I spent an hour or two playing with the local Honda dealers parts section on their web site and compiled this list.

I use to use 100 and 105 main jets for 50mm BBK on the elite sr. It was perfect for that application. I keep saying the 48mm should run a 100 jet no problem.

Well, one big question that I dont hear being asked is what is the port timing, and how is that different than the 50mm bbk that the jetting is being based off of, and what are the exhausts like on both of these? The scavenging efficiency is very dependent on both of these, and that'll affect how much fresh air (and therefore how big of a jet) you're going to need.
Make sure that there are no leaks, the float is at the right level etc, and then trust what the plug is saying.
EDIT: Where do you go about getting the different jets? just through a honda powersports dealer? Any other sources?

My exhaust port timing is going to be slightly different than everyone elses. It is raised about 1mm.

then a larger jet than 100 may certainly be necessary... just base it off of the plug chops
