86 spree just bought runs like crapp..nedd help!!!!

are the spree petcock and the petcock from the 89 sb50p the same

Not even all the Spree petcocks are the same.

The '84 and '85 Spree are the same as the as the 1985 Aero 80 and 1985 Elite 80, 125 and 250.

While the '86 and '87 Spree fits a total of 40 different bikes including the SB50, 1988-90; the SA50 1988-94 and the Elite 80 1986-2007.

I know that the latter is still available from Honda.

i think i found my problem for sure ..i sprayed a litle carb cleaner buy the oil pump then it died down a bit then would rev up.. how would you advise me to seal that up.. iv never had one off so idk if there is like a o ring holding it on or what .. help me out

how would i fix a vacume leak at the oil pump???

Greetings:

Check the service Manual. There is an O-ring around the pump body.
Turf and Irrigation supply stores can match size for replacement.

Remember it could be case halves gasket and even reed block, which can crack. Clean thoroughly and observe for oil seepage elsewhere.
