I used the 94-01 elite shock because i managed to find an engine with half a frame.
And i just relocated the shock mount right under the VR mount

IIRC the spree shock is about 1/4'' longer than the elite shock but it has a little different coil over. Im guessing that the elite shock is a bit stiffer because the elite is rated for a heavier rider, so the shock has to support that much more weight. All a guess though

Thanks to Trafficjamz I got a jet, Bought a tire of the correct size today. Now waiting on someone with an Elite E Shock and a unifilter....

New tire should be here soon, Also the honda elite E shock is on its way :happy: I need to stop by fastenal to get a m10x140mm bolt to weld for the new shock mount :geekdance: ....

Ok the build is starting to move along quickly, Got the Elite E shock, M10x140mm bolt, A unifilter (thanks Kingjeff) and the tire should be here soon. I will weld the bolt to the frame monday and run gas and vacuum lines AND IM READY TO RIDE! Stock :woot:

I welded the new shock mount and the shock is like 1/8 inch from hitting the Fu@k!ng tire :evil: time to cut it off and re-weld... :bs: But i have to admit it did look Bad@ss when it was all together. Thanks kingjeff for the uni.

Yeah of course still didnt add much room, I didnt weld the bolt with enough thread. Good thing I bought 2 :smile:

if you use the drill and weld way its alot easier if you got the right size bolt :thumbwink:

I just re welded the bolt so there is more thread to keep it away from the tire, And the weld job is SEXY :thumbwink:
