I have 7.5:1 gears on my 78cc and i weigh 220 lbs

You will be fine on 6.5:1 if you only weigh 150.

thanks. is there anything else i could get to get more mph. i already have a pipe and a carb

A disc brake kit to slow you down. Proper speed rated tires for the speeds.

if i wanted safety i would install a 5 point harness and a roll cage!

Having almost died from a 45 mph crash, saved my head with a high dollar helmet, the body took a major beating, I have a different slant on wearing helmets that the young and dumb.

But a perfect example is the guy that was riding in a parade without a helmet to protest helmet laws, he crashed at about 10 mph and died.

I'm with you Bear, I've always worn a full face helmet any time I ride my scooters. A woman fell on her bicycle 3 years ago in my town, she hit her head on a curb and is now a parapolegic. Humans are fragile. And even at 25mph, crashing against a 25mph SUV is like 50mph into a wall. DEAD.....

Well guys i actually finished up the moped tonight. It ran with the custom exhaust on it but top speed was around 30mph. I switched the stock pipe back on... oooooooo man... im gonn have to gps it because the speedo needle is resting on the bottom of the gauge!

in this topic BEAR has my votes (if voting is an option) he is blunt and to the point and ususally allways has something to say
