Thanks, working on clean parts is nice but it just takes more time.

Got gaskets and rings, I have a 3 day weekend off work so I should have the time to put it back together.

Can't wait to see how it works when you reassemble it. Its exciting
Soak the base gasket and the reed block/intake gaskets well with 2 stroke oil. Then you will be able to pull stuff apart and play with it and not have to replace the gaskets every time.

First of all the crank bearings need to be removed from the crank and new ones put into the case first! It wont go in straight with the bearings on the crank! Secondly the crank case and intake area needs to be rough enough for fuel to atomize. Its not supposed to be polished like that.
