i have put a se50 in my spree if the weather was better when i did it it wood been a one day job ...so putting the 80cc in may take a little longer ..but it is worth in the long run ... your spree will only do about 35 if your lucky but 30 is more likely
so the 80cc well do about 40 to 45 the dio motor the way to go if your looking for speed ...

Good idea!
I wonder what they look like with all of the side panels removed?
All of the plastic body parts, and then put foot pegs on it. :coolcruise:

seriously dude that sounds like a faulty spark plug or a dodgy coil pack not a carb issue

That air box lid isn't screwed down properly you need the right screw in it and check for the gasket. Its running lean

Okay I just watched the rest of that video... Dude you can't run that spree with the air box cover off like that! That is your entire problem! The oil filter being oiled does nothing if you rev it up with it not installed and the air box cover not snugged down. I'm going to sound like a broken record here but here goes, a stock spree must have the air box intact with a properly oiled filter and air box lid snugged down with its gasket intact. The air box meters the amount of air to match the amount of fuel supplied by the main jet above 1/4 to 1/2 throttle. Remove the cover or any leak in that system it runs lean and I mean lean so lean in fact it does what your spree does... rev up and die. The only way around the air box is to up jet to a 95 jet pretty much, spree comes with a 68. And even then it can be problematic.

Payday is monday,
and I am going to get a new plug, fresh 2 stroke
Oil, carb float, needle and seat, bystarter, fuel valve, crank seal, and a tank of chevron supreme unleaded. I checked, the air filter housing, and the gasket is missing, plus, where a gasket would go, the plastic is all warped and wavy like a snake.
