You may want to play with the size of the resonator and the length of the tubing as well. That's why large diameter PVC pipe would be good; you could build up several volumes cheaply. I'd try a few between 75 and 200 cc.

I did a hand calc to estimate the size needed (around 150 cc). It's quite large.

If you get it to work you have to paint it blue and get a NOS sticker for the side, or decal "N20" on the side. It's mandatory.

Good luck.

even if this stuff was available there is no place to mount it. my alarm sys is 5 by 5 in and it took for ever to find a place for that.

Ah heck, just saw some big holes in the sidecovers. Or run without them, like mine.

I think that's how I ended up with this one. I pulled it out of a garage where the previous owner had abandoned it. Every panel had damage, and the forks and front wheel were bent. But the engine was good; good compression, belt, decarbonized, etc.

i traded a honda hobbit for the spree. the hobbit ran but it was not the correct killswitch. (off was really on). the kid i traded it to let his friend use it, the throttle jammed and he couldnt figure out how to shut it off so he ended up hitting a fence at 25 mph. the front end looked like a pretzel.

[quote="vette76"]i threw the intake back on and it does definately improve acceleration, and top speed.so thats kool. i am estimateing a 3-5 mph improvement.(i dont have a speedo cable).i live on a steep hill and when i climb it with the spree the speed usually drops. now it accelerates all the way up the hill as if i had a head start.

well with the speedo cable my intake definately gave me a boost.34mph and it still had more left in it but i dont want to blow my engine because of the new rings+stuff.

ps. this it not with the dump either, just the stock pipe. too late to be lighting the street up.(i finally have the spree together and dont need the cops on my * this soon)
