I've never tried seafoam, only heard of it. It's easier than taking the carb apart (which isn't that hard). You might give it a try.

I just wanted to know if something like that (meant to break down gunk) might be too hard on stuff like the fuel lines, which look to me like they're made of some kind of rubber. It's probably ok though.

If it's meant to be a fuel additive, I'd imagine that it's ok for the fuel lines. It's a simple fix if it works. Give it a try, then clean out your carb if you still have a problem.

Well just pull the plug and have a look, also it could be ignition dunno how you could test it though.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

I had the plug out a couple days ago and it's still that cocoa-brown color like in the other thread. I'm gonna try the seafoam though. Just a few capfuls to like 1/4 tank of gas is enough right?
