ill get pics later. ii got it running today but i had to cut the muffler off because its packed tight with carbon. i took it out and i dont know if the engine was modified or what because i hit the gas and it stood straight up on the rear wheel. i noticed the big spring in the middle of the clutch is yellow. (not sure if this means anything) the other thing is it tops out at like 20mph. feels like a gearing issue because the engine is racing. any ideas? variator weights worn?whats up?.

well i tried the elite today and now it has top end. so, i dont know what the * happened. maby the weights stuck or something. it has a top speed of around 32 (stock) i still have to get a bigger jet. the thing is it runs faster without an airbox. i have never seen that type of carb do that. maby because it is de-restricted. i will get a new jet and see what it does. i cant even fathem one of these things supped up. its hard to keep the front wheel on the ground now.

9g weights on a 50cc?? too heavy.. 7g is considered heavy for my vento. ur top end should be good, but acceleration + midrange must not be too great..?

thats weird because the stock oko variator weights (if u want to call that stock) are 9 grams. u have the oko right? i was thinking about getting that. doesnt really matter if i lose low end because its hard to keep the wheel on the ground.(not that thats a bad thing)

my elite did about 25-30. with the 7 grams i only did like 33 and with the 9g i really dont know how fast it does. lol

try using 3-7gr and 3-9gr weights this way you get bottom & top end, i also find that factory honda weights "aero" combined with malossi last the longest before getting flat spots and i also file down the ramp edges.
