Look at the picture that wheel man posted if you look long enough I am sure you can figure it out.
But first like bear said get a known GOOD 12v Battery and a good fuse.

Alright, I get it now. Also, I just opened the battery out of curiousity and all the caps are completely empty. maybe this is why the battery isnt charging? Im getting more acid later and then charging it. Hope it works

And the fuse that was blown before was a buss sfe 9. I got a buss sfe 9a to replace it, this is the correct fuse for a spree right? Its defninitely a 1985 btw.

A 1985 Spree actually uses a 7 amp fuse.

The battery or the fuse? The battery most definately. As long as the fuse is not blown, No. But it wouldn't matter if the fuse was blown, the battery is trashed.

So a different amp fuse wouldnt affect the starting? and it still wouldnt start even when jumping from a car battery, I think the problems deeper in the electrical system. Ill look at it more tomorrow. Could the CDI be blown?

Even with a bad CDI the electrical would still work.

First thing that comes to mind is a bad fuse holder. Do you have power at both ends of the fuse and on the wire after the fuse holder? The only other thing that will cause no power to everything is a broken wire between the fuse and the first slice in the wiring harness. Of course the ignition switch could be bad. The ignition switch on my Spree, after sitting all winter always takes a bunch of on and offs to get it to finally work properly.

How would I know if theres power at both ends? the fuse fits pretty snugly in the 2 holders and I didnt see any breaks in wires, but I havent checked thoroughly yet. Heres a picture of the fuse in the holder(it was the old 9Amp fuse that was in there before I changed it)

If you knew me, youd know I'm as stubborn as a donkey when it comes to making things that don't work, work :thumbwink:

Could I get a testlight at walmart or autozone? And how much would it put me back?

EDIT: And Id like to thank all of you so much for the help, I'd be completely lost without you guys.
