fine then I didnt want it anyway

if I have to I know where a 87 aero is that was been in a fire that i can get and swap into but i wanted something that has all the plastics etc there. the upside to the aero is it still has the variated engine

it looks like crap and is missing almost all the plastic and the wires are melted. If I cant find anything suitable i will just swap this engine into the other Spree since I am going to leave it mostly stock. I have a third af16 to build so my options are wide open

I have thought about swapping an af16 into my spree but I'm not very good when it comes to fabricating and the works. So I figured I would keep it stock so I have a runnin scoot, build this currently non running elite and then once I get it up and on the road, keep doing harder builds and work my way up to the af16.

swapping the motor is actually realllly easy if you have a welder

I don't have one but can get my hands on one relatively easily. I am mostly worried about rewiring everything and mounts.

wiring is easy, cut the connectors from the spree engine and match them up to the af16 wire colors, voila they hook right up , splice and crimp. there are several threads in the build section with pics on the mounts. if you can get a custom shock mount from richdavidson34 half the work is done

if you have the elite e and hte engine is blown go ahead and do that with the af16 but you still have to do some fab work

I am all about a good deal. If i had the money and was closer I would be all over these BUT alas I am not so I figured since these have been in your neck of the woods I might as well pass along the info
