A better way to measure the size is buy using a surrenge. you can get them and some farm supply stores for giving cows and horses shots. Accurate and very cheap. Maybe even build the bottle out of one.

Yes, it should. If you find a source for Kevlar scooter belts around SE MI, let me (us) know.

i am currently filing my intake and thinking about a boost bottle. has vette got his working? do you think its worth it or would it shorten the life of the spree to much?

You didnt notice a diff in what? Performance or life? Do you think its worth making a boost botle or more of a waist of time?

I have 1 going on the aero 110 cc alum, dont use pvc as gasoline melts plastic!,second a smaller belt will make you go slower! a larger belt will ride higher -it's a cvt, if you put a small belt your gear ratios will be reduced!
A boost bottle just smoothes out the throttle response, dont give you top end power, just smoother throttle response and some low end torque.
you have to make sure that any liquid will not pool in the bottle.make sure that the bottle can and will drain any liquid,so make sure the fitting is a the lowest point !

you do need the paper gasket for the cover -it's a clearence gasket !

you forgot to mention the the boost bottle needs to be positioned higher than the cylinder head.It also has to be as large in cc if not larger than the total cc you are running. It gave me a smoother response on the bottom with about 400rpm more.try to make the tube as large and short as possible from where it connects to the intake in between the carb and the reed cage.
