for the dd06 it gets its power from the stator. no brown wire.
for the dd19, what i just ordered, i believe it gets its power from the key switch "on" has a brown wire coming from cdi
the two kits both work on the minarelli horizontal but the dd06 is wired differently then the dd19. ill find out more when parts arrive in a week or two.
EDIt,
i recently swapped a full spree harness and my corsa minarelli onto a ruckus frame. i sold it to friend with the "Alex Fritz service guarantee" so i have to fix it if anything ever breaks. i dont mind since i know he wouldnt have any idea on how to fix it. recently he had a no spark issue. it took me 10 mins to find a broken ground wire at the stator and a broken wire at the cdi.
ive gone through my harness on this bike a good number of times and i feel like i def would have seen a broken wire or something. but i will continue to test daily.

the dd19 should work then. my cdi takes power from a switched 12v source and ive never had any issues.

i had the dd06 working before though. i had a spark when i first installed the kit, few months past and we got the bike fired up for the first time. since then no spark. baffled .

so I did a little looking around. scootertuning.ca sells the dd06 under the aerox and the dd19 under the zuma. not sure if there is any major differences in the motor or harness but the part numbers are probably different for a reason. the kits look the same but I don't have them side by side to compare so I cant really say

the wiring is different between the two.

i got it....i dont know how, or why, but i regained spark.
she starts but the throttle needs wide open and it just pukes smoke and then dies. getting alot of fuel.
drop slow jet size? has a 45 in it now. probably raise needle clip and adjust airfuel screw too. this electric fuel pump really pushes the fuel even with the fpr at the lowest setting of .5
i had to hold the spree wide open to start it when i first did that build. if i remember correctly it was all in the jetting.

slow jet seems big. I was running a 32 slow jet in my 21 cp carb with an Athena hyper race kit. G9 was right when he said that the polini carbs don't need as much fuel as other carbs.

I dropped to a 40 slow. It idles best with choke on but it pukes smoke out of the exhaust. With the choke off it revs really high with almost no control on the throttle then basically tries to die unless you blimp it back to life with a sharp twist of the throttle, then it repeats revving up very high and almost dying. I can't keep it running at this time. But spark is good. This is a polini 28mm pwk

My bad. I was thinking you had the 24 cp carb on this but I forgot that's on the elite

Too many build threads. Too many projects. So many great ideas.

2 hours of kicking to hear it run for two minutes.
Right now, over it.

Take a trip to denver with it. I guarantee I'll have it running with in a day. I have Sunday and Mondays off now.

That's an idea, which I actually really like. But it would be tuned for that elevation. I'm at 3300 ft

This thing fell on my car yesterday and put a couple scratches and a good size dent dead center on my hood. I'd rather make a trip to Denver then spend $500 to get that fixed #priorites
The mvt I don't think puts enough juice out to the air compressor. I have a fear of getting stranded aired out somewhere. Trading a local his shock plus cash today. I'm hoping I will be able to switch my carb back to forward facing to eliminate this crazy carb angle I have. I have a feeling my issue is in my float.
This weekend or next, one man
