I got a good used crankshaft that has good bearings and seals. The spleens are in great shape also.
I will sell it to you for cheap if you need it. i will have to remove it from the engine, but that should only take a few minutes.

yup, thats the ticket right there. are you gonna restore the original "appliance blue" paint? either way, this is def a project for the "scooter builds" thread. i can imagine most everyone here will be interested in what ur gonna do to her, not to mention that most of the people on here have some great resources for finding parts or services to help you with it.
It would definitely be a treat to ride it, and i bet youll get a lot of looks and waves when she's done.
Best of luck to you and keep us posted

Dude, i should swap a dio on it
no, just kidding.
i don't want to miss out on the joy of a manual transmission on a scoot
the motor is currently seized and soaking in one of a million different lubricants, i think the current is atf. wd40, all different kinds of penetrating oils, uh... yeah, tried em' all. i've split the jug from the case but will probably have to destroy the connecting rod and replace from there up... i should give it it's own thread, but it's
very not honda

Heya Tazland, I have been referred to you to upgrade my 1985 honda spree. Currently, it runs but averages 25mph. I was looking into one of your bore kits on ebay and was considering the 48mm kit. Would this be sufficient to at least get me up to 35mph? Also, I've done a thing or two on a car engine before but a 2cc is brand new to me, does your kit come with instructions? Many thanx and I'm very interested.

Greetings:
Six, your stuff always looks so cool. Your attention to detail is remarkable.
That said, straighten up the carb-side clamp on that tight-looking 21mm carb, willya? Also, I was not aware that humans could grow hair there. Ya know, f you keep doing that, you'll go blind. Already you need glasses...
