Well thanks to Hurricane Matthew we closed shop early... Which gave me double time to work on the Spree today at 1.5 HOURS!!!!!

Front End Teaser... Thinking of trimming, flipping, & floating the Ruck fender so she doesn't look so tall.

Now on to the ašš end..

Mount shaved, fits, & centered. Now just have to lower the bumper neck about 1-1/2". I noticed that Sprukus' was angled a little then corrected but he didn't have to cut the bumper neck down. Is it ok to have some angle? If so, how much is too much? I guess the SE50 mount is the one you dont have to cut?

Yea here is a visual for you folks of how it looks uncut. This is with the rubber bumper off too, the only way it would fit without cutting the existing stiffener more.

Looks good, I like the wide wheels. That's gonna be a fun bike.

Got some Oregon air today! Thanks Graphite!

So, this thing is beautifully constructed but I have an issue lol. With the spring being a wider diameter than stock, the shock ALMOST touches even with the good offset. I had the wheel torqued to spec but i'm sure when it is installed on the bike there would be a possibility of rubbing. This being said, I am going to install my shock relocator plate and figure out if spacing out the top a little will help. If not, I am going to have to resort to the wheel spacer washer deal that benji is currently running. Stay tuned, but for now, enjoy this photo!!!

Kind of makes the offset useless if the spring is a larger diameter, doesn't it? hmmmm
I need to find some new haters...the ones I have are starting to like me.

Yea, puts me back to square one... But i'm sure I will get it where it needs to be once the top it fit up. My fâtâss probably needed something better than stock anyways! Stock one is so soft, I can get it to pretty much bottom out just bouncing on it :coolcruise:

Here is another visual for you ol' folks

Wider and a ton better. I am running a 90/90/10 and I occasionally rub. At some point I'll put a spacer in the rub isn't enough to pull the tire off at this point.

I think a 3.5"x10 tire is slightly thinner and slightly taller than a 90/90, but not sure. I think the shock is offset because the spring is wider and has a better spring rate maybe, not really for shock clearance? Looks cool tho.

The stage 6 slick tire won't fit? Awe man. I've always dreamed of one of those, or one of these http://scootertuning.ca/en/wheels-tires ... 49-13.html

graphite9 wrote:holy cow what tire are you running? I run a 3.5x10 with the offset, and it is extremely close but doesnt rub. I have to suck the air out of the tire to get the wheel off the bike.
let me know what you end up doing, btw the mount looks great, nice work!
I am running a Michelin S1 90/90. Like you, it is EXTREMELY CLOSE but doesn't rub (Just too close for my comfort). But at the same time it's not completely installed. I think I will be OK, worse case ill space the wheel over a tad... But think I can get it in the top mount to where i'm comfortable with it.

The wheel goes on and off no problems at all.

Speaking of mount, plasma'd my relocator plate yesterday
