Spree Pipe Q's

Post by Bender9904 »

I am looking for any possible AM pipes for spree, i found this one...
http://www.monsterscooterparts.com/raci ... cc-2t.html
but it does not give any specific specs, although the black adapter looks like it could me mandrel-bent to work.

Also, can anyone tell me what the classifications "GY6" or "139QMB'" mean, i see these a lot and have no idea.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Yea, with out any good info it's hard to tell if it is hackable/workable.A little pricey.Cool looking though. The "GY6" and "139QMB" refer to engine types that the Chinese have cloned/copied(usually not very well) almost to the point of them becoming "commodities".Carp
'98 sa50(thanks evailone),'95 sa 50,'86 spree(thanks wikked_spree57) ,'82 nu,'81 puch,'80 nc,(2)'78nc
'78 ranchero,'77 pinto wagon,'64 t bird,'48 ford tudor,'31 ford furdor
and they all need lots of love !!!

Thank you Sir for your reply, i took a closer look at the pic again, and it looks like that black piece has a flex section in it, but i'm not about to spend good money on something that may or may not work. i wish places like that would atleast provide SOME tech info about what they sell, not to mention the "click for larger image" button brings up a photo that is the exact same size. Oh Well...

HA HA HA.......Oh, i made myself feel bad.

I decided to say screw it... it would look cool. if it worked. but I've already drilled my exhaust which provided a boost of power through the whole band as well as a nice "ricey" sound.

just checked it out, and I think I've found a new place to get some parts. THANK YOU VERY MUCH (not shouting, just happy) for the info. it is definitely appreciated. however it does not look like they would have an exhaust. But no worries, I've heard rumors that the only way to get an AM exhaust on a spree is to build one.

Peace And Love.
