Any engine oil is fine as long as it's injector oil. For the rearend; manual says 10-30 wt (car oil is fine), Jerry says use 2-stroke oil. Your pick.

Any comments on Lucas or Amsoil synthetic? I have some leftover Amsoil synthetic 10W-40 to use in the rear case. Any experience with either injector oil?

This is a college scoot, not a project. I was under the impression that 10W-40 was sufficient in the rear.

Like a 75W-90? Seems a bit thicker than recommended 10W-40, no?
