Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

Hey all, does anyone know what type of bolt is used to hold the carb on a '85 spree? Thread size? Just realized mine fell out after a long ride....that would explain the instant loss of power i was experiencing!!

Welcome! Not sure which bolt you need. There's two lengths. 6mm x 32 and 6mm x 40.

There are different thread pitches also i believe its a fine thread but it could also be extra fine so i would buy both so you don't have to run back to the hardware store because there cheap.

ahh yes, the all too familiar power loss...it doesn't hurt to keep a few zip strips on the scooter just in case

it is a metric 1 pitch

ya, just did it a couple hous ago so it was still fresh in my head
