lost spark on Spree
Any suggestions on what to check first ?? This site has been great. I know a ton on outboards and snowmobiles but not on the tricks of the spree
Re: lost spark on Spree
Make sure the run/stop switch is in the run position. This is the easiest thing to check and they often get bumped to the stop postition. After that it gets technical fast.

Re: lost spark on Spree
There is a Service manual on this site for the Spree that shows go/no go ignition resistance checks. I unplug the CDI and measure at the wire harness all but the ign coil plug lead. For convenience, here is a schematic, with the resistances added. There are resistance checks for the CDI too.
