yah know.... 50% of the sprees on here were rebuilt from total piles of junk.... how does a thing that can only go 30 miles and hour end up in such terrible condition??
Probably a lack of general maintenance along the years.
Using the wrong oil. Storing them for years without draining gas, oil, etc.
Pushed in a corner of a garage or barn and just forgotten.
All of them just waiting for this forum to bring them back alive.
we only have 30% if the spree pop. i went to a junk yard the other day i mustave seen 30-40 sprees. and only 3 er 4 were sezied the rest of em prolly could have started right up.
What junkyard? I've been looking for a cheap one to turn into the "Hunting Spree." Urban camo, 1" lift, knobbies. Haven't stumbled onto a cheap one yet, though.

30-40!? 8O thats crazy, w/out pics I just can't believe that. But if its true, you should salvage all of them and part them or fix em up!
thats still really good, thats a great investment if you have the time and $ to fix em up.. theres a guy here in wisconsin that does that and puts the completed scooter on ebay for like 500-800 bucks a pop, thats nice, and gratifying in the fact that you know the entire bike in and out.
