Spree wont start getting angry
I got my new today. Battery petcock ignition airfilter and spark plug i gapped the plug at .025-.030 is that off? I noticed that wen i fill the tank and pull fuel line off the carb and no gas came out the line. And it seems like to me it was to easy to turn the piston. (i was holding on the the whit fan thing on the side of the motor and spun it.) It went really easy. I hit the ignition and it turned over no broblem but it wouldnt start. Any ideas Thanks, Phil

Did the engine turn by hand "really easy" with the plug installed? If so, you may have low compression. Buy/rent a compression tester at an autoparts place and check it. Below 100 PSI you need a rebuild, below 80 or so it won't even fire.
Have spark? Will it run a bit on starter fluid?
Not sure on the gap. Download the service manual in tech docs and start reading.

Do not blow into it.....you have to suck on the lower tube and that will open the valve for the gas. Gas should then come out of the upper tube.Gruvin wrote:When you pull the fuel line off of the carb, no fuel should come out.
You have to take the other tube off and blow in to it. If that does not work, you have just found your problem, if it does, do a complete cleaning of your carb.
I think you need to test compression as well.....
