What do y'all think of this:

I'm suspicious not because I have much knowledge, but because it seems too good to be true. If it did help the top end, I'm guessing it would be at the cost of acceleration. Comments?

That gear set is by a member, tazland001. This has been discussed to some extent in the tech sections. I already have mine gear set in hand and they look super.

Taz's reputation speaks for itself. 'nuff said!
Thanks for pointing me to that thread, Gimpy Bear. Has anyone installed this gear yet?

No one has reported installing the gears yet. I was hoping to get them in before hunting season the middle of this month. However the interior came for the Escort GT and I'm helping my daughter install that. Then there is a family thing this weekend. Then of course, prep for hunting (service the ATV and truck, sight-in the guns, get all the gear out and ready to go, then hunting. If I am lucky I will get a deer the first day (don't laugh, it happened once before). Then I will do the gears.

Yeah. One year I scheduled a whole week of vacation. Killed out 7AM Saturday morning. darn it.

Some people like Taz, others don't. I've bought a number of items from him and so far have to give him a clean bill. I've bought several of his mirrors, couple of big bore kits...

My first day of season deer was the first year I ever had the whole intire season off to hunt. The sun wasn't even up yet when he walked out of the brush into the little clearing I was watching. A whole 35 feet from where I was sitting. Of course my long gun's muzzle was pointed the other way, so I took him with my revolver.
