Gee Thanks. I've got winning bid on them.

I can see now, no flange on the manifold side. Maybe they fit moped?

both of then have a flange, look to the center of the first picture. on another pic, you can see a manifold off to the side. maybe the mate? might help id what these are for.

I must not be looking at it right. But since I still have the lead bid, I may be finding out soon. Since I've got a Spree, Elite E, LX and AF16, they're bound to fit something. Maybe a Yamerhammer?

I WON the bid, $12.50 plus $8 shipping.
The photos were definitely tricky. Both carbs are clearly Spree, two bystarters and manifold. I don't need them just yet, but they seem to be in good shape, just need the standard cleaning. So they go in my TO-DO list for winter days.

Says right in the description. "These are two 1987 Honda Elite scooter 50cc carburetors " = SE50.

Call them what you will. I have no idea what an SE50 carb look like, but know what I'm holding in my hand. They are definitely Honda Keihin, and well worth the price. The two carbs are not the same. One has the bystarter on the outside (as mounted) and forward toward the manifold, and the other on the inside, even with the throttle cable. One appears identical to the carb I pulled from my SB50, the other identical to an SA carb I bought off eBay last summer. The manifold has been polished silk smooth. It might go on my SB50 rebuild.

Early (88-93) SA carb is same as SE. I should have said AF05 carbs. Sounds like you got 1 SB50 and 1 AF05. Now that i think about it, the Spree did have bystarter in different spot than my 87 AF05 Elite. I went back and looked at pic. Spree carb on left, AF05 carb on right. Spree carb has bystarter on outside, right? I know the AF05 carbs bystarter is on inside.

evilone, the photo was too dark to really tell a whole lot, and in fact the flange was hard to see. But now that I've got them in hand, I can see what they are. I just looked at a couple of scoots that I have covers pulled on, or could peak under, and one carb and manifold are near identical to the Spree and the SB. Other carb looks like the SA with bystarter on the inside. My SR (AF16E) also has bystarter on the inside.
If you will remember, there was a thread several months back about the many configurations of the AF05E, even with a non-variator and a variator powerplant both having AF05E designation. More Hondasan confusion. I'll also have some better idea when I tear down and see the jets. I expect a 68 in one and a 78 in the other.
