very nice score! i heard in annother post you were looking for a new seat and i would advise that you just re-cover that seat and save some dough unless the foam is rotted out on it. im sure if you search seat cover you will find something cool. (cant remember which forum meber posted it)

Yeah it looks like covers are about 20- 30 on Ebay. This bike only has 580 miles on the clock although it does not look like it. Too bad someone let it sit outside and rot

Anyone know the laws in Oregon on scoot titles He bought it without a title and we are in Washington. Trying to find a easy cheaper way to license it.

And now it runs but very noisy

Can't tell where the noise is coming from but runs pretty good a little hesitation. Working on Lubing cables checking fluids.

that seems like a deal to me. Just a couple days ago I bought a 85 an 86 spree for $90 for the pair. Neither run but I am fairly close to getting the 86 to run. both supposedly have under 1200 miles but I doubt this. But the spree you bought looks better than the ones I got judging from the pics. Congrats! I think I might post some pics tomorrow and have you guys give me some input. I plan on getting one running and maybe selling the other. These were the first sprees I had ever seen too, they are neat!

I live in oregon but ave never registered a scoot. But I talked about this from the guy I bough these two sprees from and he said you do not need a M1 license, all you do is pay 75 dollars to register it for a year and your done. I would imagine you might need a title but I do not know. I am in the same boat as you because I do not have a title for the 85 I bought. Again this is all info from the guy I bough from so it is second source knowledge. I recommend calling oregon DMV and just chatting with them.

Well thanks for the info.... If you find anything else out about it let me know. I don't live in Oregon so kinda difficult to get this kind of info. I know washington will be a real pain to go thru they might not even do it. I'ts the weekend though so I'll check it out when they are open.

well, I was on CL again and scored a parts bike with a title for $75 It's got all the missing and damaged parts he needs to license it and make er run good. Just about the only thing missing from it was the back wheel. I'll snap some pics tomorrow to share.

God, CL is addictive isn't it?
