Has anyone had a problem with daywot on ebay? I bought a bbk for the elite last week and still haven't received it. I've emailed this guy 3 times and still no response. He has a high rating and other buyer say great communication with seller but this guy won't email me back and he has my money..*!! just curious if anyone else has had this issue or should I get pay-pal to get my money back and go elsewhere!

well, daywot is in hawaii, so shipping seems to take a while.
im having my own issues with daywot right now with jets, but he is usually great about returning e mails.

I would wait man a weak from hawaii is to soon, not answering the emails thats another thing. But I have dealt with him face to face and online.......honestly I wouldn't worry about it I'm sure it's on the way, but keep after him until you get some kind of response........my 2cents.

Greetings:

Patrick has a lot going on. Last time I had a similar complaint it turned out he was in Italy for 2 weeks. He may not always have access to his emails, but he's never failed to deliver anything I've ordered, and there've been dozens of orders. Delivery time tends to be 7-10 days, so you should see your BBK soon.

Patrick is good people all the way. *he is a busy guy in scooter-world.* I have been a customer of his since 2001, and he has ALWAYS came thru with my orders, helped me with tech advice, and been more than willing to help me out if I need to trade a new part, returns, etc.

Keep in mind Patrick is one of the few people that are willing to ship out of Hawaii. Those who have been on "other" forums understand... most Hawaiians won't ship because of the fact that they could always just sell their parts in Hawaii to local customers.

Have faith in Mr. Daywot... he won't let you down.

Thanks guys that what I wanted to hear. I've been burned on ebay before and didn't really need to go through all that again.I just started to worry when I sent 3 emails and no reply.Maybe he's out of town or something but I don't mind waiting for parts as long as I get a response.I always give people the benefit of the doubt and it dosen't seem that anyone else had a problem and only good things to say, so I guess I have to wait!!

Well finally got a hold of patrick from daywot. I guess my emails were going to his spam account and he never checked them. I know how that is, I do it myself! Anyways parts are on the way and even going to order some trans parts from him.He said a varitor plate is a must with the 66cc.I think i'm going to order that and the 9.1 gears. What about a clutch spring? What size?

That's why it's always wise to write vendors through eBay. Also, If there is ever a problem, you have documentation of efforts to resolve issues. Direct contact is not necessarily a good thing when dealing with an eBay vendor.

I will be very interested in how your project comes out. I have a dead AF16 that I'm considering the 66cc kit for. I don't really care to go bigger, as you really need carb upgrade on the 75-80cc. I could do the 66cc bbk with just a jet upgrade.
