Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

Alright so i picked up this ugly thing for $125 today, cool $1 per CC. The body is somewhat decent. I haven't hooked a battery to it yet, but i know it turns over. The guy i got it from, got it from the same guy i got my red spree, aero and elite 50 from. He was going to try fix it and ride it, but being a recovering crackhead(his words, not mine) he doesn't know how to work on them and cant afford it. So he called me up and asked if i would buy it from him to pay back the lady that loaned him the money to buy it.

So, its got compression, not sure on fuel, i'll clean the carb good first, but no spark. I haven't messed with it yet, but will tomorrow.

Can't help you on the 125, other than envy you. Love the color on that Helix. Mine is typical red.

I painted the helix myself. Its rustoluem for plastic red. It was some horrid colours when i got it.

I loved my Aero 125.

It runs! I put a coil from one of my parts bikes on it and it had lots of spark. So i shot some oil in the cylinder and hit the button. It fired right up and filled my shop with smoke. Ran it for about 10 minutes, took it for a ride too. Scary fast get up, and that bald tire is no fun. The front brake doesnt work and the back seems to lock up. It uses alot of the same parts as an Elite 150, and ive got a whole parts bike, so ill be swapping parts tonight.
