Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

Just wondering if anyone has replaced the stock reeds with some performance ones? would it gain power?

Im sure they would. anything performance would make a spree go faster. The question is would they work in the place of spree reeds?

Don't know that they'd fit. Most scoot tuners don't seem to get much from the reeds. On higher RPM motors, switching to carbon fibre will protect your engine if you suck a petal into the engine.

Have you looked at your intake, and taken the restriction out where the carb bolts up? There's a narrow spot there that can be widened.

so new carbon fiber reed wont do anything.

Let's say it wouldn't be the first thing I'd try.
