1983 Honda Aero80

Here is my '83 Aero. This was my first scooter.
Started a frame up restoration last year and am 97% done.
When I got it

Started stripping it down:
during the restoration

a few days ago
Should finish it up this week.
Whats been replaced:
Tires (new 3.50X10's)
Fuel lines
Oil lines
Rec/Reg
Wiring
Bulbs
Engine (one from my Aero50 swap) with a Uni pod
brake cables

WOW! I though mine was gonna be a project. *, mine is just gonna be replacing some plastics and doing a bit of plug in wiring. Oh yeah, and some hot rodding of course. I'm impressed.

Thanks Bear! Its came along way from what it was.
Ive replaced all the plastics on this one.
I think Im going to hot-rod this one up a bit, carb, and a CR-80 piston. Ill probably wait too do the piston this winter.

Yeah it is and it has less than 1000 miles on it. So I'm really pleased to have gotten it. So the intent is to make it look good again. Beside my wife really likes it.

That one is a great machine. It has the rear turn signals (very hard too find) and the lenses between the front turn signals.

Just about done.
Got the new brake cables on and the steering fixed.
Only thing left is to get the rest of the plastics on and hook the spring up for the kick stand.
And need to put in my new rollers that came today! Any one ever used Prima brand rollers?

Yep, for whatever reason,
They turned to dust in less than 300 mi.
I couldn't believe it. Maybe a variator problem,
But I've never seen a roller die so fast.
