I'm swapping the intake on my 86' spree to an elite intake- i know i need to install a barb for the oil line seeing as how the elite had the oil line running to the carberator, and the spree doesnt. my question is when I get the intake with a larger inner diameter installed the oxygen/fuel ratio will be off-but off by how much? will adjusting the carberator do the trick or will I have to change one or both jets then adjust the carb.??

For an intake change, your jetting should not change. As to the added hose fitting. There is an articale in Wikispreedia on it.

Don't add an extra barb to that intake. :surprise:
Just dremel out a spree intake or trade me for a dremeled spree intake.

The main reason I like the elite e intake, is because there is only one barb.

Once you go premix, and get rid of the oil pump, you will regret cutting up the elite intake.

Plugging a hose barb is so easy, as to be considered negligible in the overall scheme of things. I find an oil injection system to make premixing a PIA. Of course when I was growing up there were no oil injection systems, we premixed everything, every time.
