powder coating

what are you guys paying to have two wheels powder coated for a spree, getting quotes of 40 bucks each thought that was high.

If they are doing the sandblasting, cleanup, and providing the powder, $40 isn't a bad price for each wheel. It probably costs that to turn on the ovens....

Hit up PimpinSpree, I believe he does powder coating out of his home garage. He can atleast tell you what he thinks is fair.

yep... $40 is totally fair for each wheel. I have paid $50 per wheel when I first started going to the powdercoater in my city, but now since I am such a "frequent" there they hook me up.

yeah, I just talked to him a bit more and I am going to prep my small stuff in my cabinet to save some cash but I got him down to 35.00 a wheel, seems better to me.
