Gyro top speed

I have a 1984 gyro. What speed should it run when properly running? Are there any mods I can do to gain any speed?

I doubt mine is running up to "optimum" speed, but at full throttle, level ground I can get it to approximately 32 MPH.
I've heard rumors of being able to mod the Gyro, but I think it is a myth.

Has anyone played around with the air filter setup. Anyone taken off the stock airbox and replaced it with? I got a srock Canopy but would like to get a few more mph on the top end. I was also wondering which non gyro exhaust would fit for the Gyro engines. My canopy only does 45kph[about 25-26mph]
