Greetings:

I'm breaking in a similar setup in Flash 4.2 Scooter Builds, except my carb is a 28/30 OKO. Currently running a 60/160 pilot-main. It's pretty rich, but staying cool for now. A 158 Main caused a brief overheat, unless it was the 25:1 HP-2 oil... Switched to Motul 800 Offroad @ 32:1 when I upped the Main.

Just use 1500 center spring only and dont use 2000 spring add lots of strect on v belt.

Dont forget to match boost port and leave transfer port alone.

Greetings:

If a Ruima bore, may I suggest you get careful measurements of the piston and cylinder dimensions. This requires more expensive tools than my digital caliper can supply accurately, but even with that primitive instrument there seems to be a good bit of kit-to-kit variation in the critical dimension of piston/cylinder clearance. Different kits (I'm up to 3... ) measure differently.

Wheelman caught with pants down. Compression started at 135, but declined a bit for some reason.

In the Service Manual Honda-san specifies 0.04 mm as the tightest stock clearance, with a "service limit" 0f 0.1mm, but of course that's for Stock cylinders and pistons. (See Engine Specs Table at the beginning of Chapter 6.)

If the piston is at all tight in the bore - I would suggest this means a clearance of less than 0.04mm - be especially careful with compression, jetting and spark plug heat range. Opinions on the ideal compression ratio vary. Some have suggested under 120, while others consider it safe up to 135 or so. Of course, a lot depends on what you intend to do with the outcome, i.e. Dragstrip Denizen versus Daily Driver.

Oil brand preferences and premix ratio opinions are all over the place, of course. Some suggest as thick as 16:1 while others experiment with ratios as thin as 50:1 and less. I've always believed that more oil was better, but the jetting has to compensate when you get up near 25:1 or more. The OKO 28 is a popular carb, so jetting advice should be easy to get. Surely there are more experienced readers here who could share their setup observations and outcomes? Aloha, 808? Or is a measure of Secrecy still in effect?

as stated previously, i'm not a DC guy, so my list of Superman related names will be weak at best...but here are 3 names i like better than lex

1. Bizarro(from bizarroworld)
2. Darkseid(the DC version of Marvel's Apocalypse)
3. General Zod(better villain than lex and has super powers...and a much cooler name for a scoot)

if it were me, and i were a DC fan...i'd go w/ zod. he appeared in the first 2 superman movies(late 70's).

i dont know...u couldnt just call it "zod" it have to be an all-or-nothing type thing for me... you could get away w/ referring to it as "the general" but..."general zod" should be used as much as possible.
