Greetings:

Does the Pal have the variated SB engine? If so I'm eager to see what it can do with your BBK and gears.

The wiring harness was rotten and all cut up. I had to do major repairs on it. But I got it all fixed. And no this is not the variated pal engine. I got an elite e engine of this forum but it also had problems. I figured it would be better to start with a complete engine to save time. But like I said prior it had issues as well. I will post more pics shortly.

Yah I wish we had something better than the solid pulley system. I am having problems trying to find an engineer to design the a variator for the spree. Anyone know any real good engineers that love scooters?

Here are some pics of the panels and the filler I used to repair them. I have used this for years. If you use a backing it will seal and repair any crack. It sands smooth as silk and you will never know the panel was broke if you paint over it.

I had to use elite e panels for the rear because I must have lost the others. They are the same.

I got that filler on e-bay.That is the best filler I have ever used for plastics. The panels look decent in the pics but there is damage. Alot of cracks and a few holes. The front light panel is broken in half completely and the front panel has about ten layers of paint on it. But over all it should'nt be to much work.
I will post more pics soon.

U know u should clean that headset inside and out till there's no oil or dirt residue then sanp it abit then apply fiberglass and then u sand the outside wen the fiberglass on the inside is dries up the after sand the out side of the shell try and sand it right on top of the cracks den clean it throughly with a wet cloth let it dry then apply the plastic filler last but not least wen it dries sand it down til smooth

What I did was use an epoxy and mesh on the underside to create a backing. Then I filled the top and sanded smooth. To prep for the paint I washed the panels off and after they dried I used what they call a tack cloth, It is a sticky cloth that will remove any dust and dirt. I hope the spelling is correct. Your idea is good. I have used fiberglass for a backing in the past but did not use it this time because I did not have any.. :( But it all worked out.
I will post pics of the engine next. Thanks for looking 86spreezy......................

No I do not have an extra set. I was lucky to find a set on here. I was looking for the pal japan tail light but could not find a set. Anyone know where to buy a tail light assembly for a honda pal?

Here are some pics of the engine someone sent me off this forum. I forgot who sent me the engine. It is the basic elite e non variated engine. I had to cut off the clutch bolt because it was stripped. I installed a 48mm BBK on this engine. This engine also had a blown cranshaft seal on the pulley side, but was easily removed and fixed. Overall the engine was in good shape. Ohh yahh the engine was packed very nicely. Thanks
