Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

Hey guys,

I got an 86 Spree...Any idea what could be causing it to die when I stop giving throttle? It runs perfectly 30-35 mph until I stop, then it dies and will start again upon a few kicks.

I've read a few threads involving air, carb, etc. figured I'd ask and see if it can be pin pointed..

Idle circuit in carb is at least partially plugged up.

just do a good clean job on the carb and see if that helps

Check the float level carefully when you are in the carb.
