trying to get spree running, i put in different charging system from other bike and new plug :jack: , coil, pickup coil, and flywheel, i sanded it down and cleaned it up, i hooked a battery to the bike fully charged, but i have no spark, whats wierd is i put a continuity tester up inside the sparkplug cap and the tester flashes red , but no spark? if i turn the key to on position , i have continuity from the two wired pick up coil-green-wire, and blue wire , . i tried cranking again and i think i fried something because i turn key on and nothing, only lights , i have power (continuity) from the wires in the harness that go to the starter, and i can make starter turn when i jump it, but when i twist the reds together and greens together- nothing. I only had this bike cranking one time- then nothing. does it sound like the harness is shot- or what did i wreck tring to start this thing? :jack: :coolcruise:

The brake has to be on for the starter to work. That's why there is a lock on the left hand (rear).

Is the "stop/run" switch in the run position?
