Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

So my ex is moving to Tiawan for work. Could be up to 3 years for the assignment. We are on great terms and I will be taking advantage of the situation to visit her.

So... any shopping I should do there and any advice on bringing things back? I have seen comments on here about Taiwan having some good scooter stuff but what should I be looking for?

I am open to input.

First trip will be mid-December.

Anything for the dio that looks good and is cheap.the watercooled 50mm POP bores or the sef bores or koso bores are tops. If you can find the watercooled bores that have the seperate chambers meaning the water doesn't flow from the head to cylinder as 1.there is a brand that has the R.O.C stamped on it .any of the msp exhaust or sectional pipes are good to. Look for the bores with the huge boost port.there are some new bores that just came out that have very big boost ports.any of the 47mm or 48mm bores with those big bosst ports are good.you will see a lot of mini stroke,small stroker or full stroker bores mostly.

How about side stands? (or are those just Japan?)

yes! the taiwan dio's came with a sidestand already. only the japan dio's didn't.the jdm lights for what bike?

For all bikes I know Lawler clan is a fellow se50 rider. He could bring back some sa50 tail lights to sell if he wanted to make some money off the trip.

the sa50 lights you can get here in the states. the dj1rr rear lights if you can find them but the engine stuff brand wise you dont see for sale on a regular basis is the stuff to bring back or aftermarket rims or adjustable suspension stuff.

just post on craigslist in vancouver,bc or any of the big canada cities that your looking for certain parts.

Bring back some Motocompos.

Also a Chaly frame would be nice
