Spree hunts at idle then dies

Hi, Was wondering if anyone had an opinion. My spree 87 model runs on at idle then dies and will not restart. By runs on I mean it runs fast and slow and fast and slow then dies. Have replaced everything in the carb that I could needle, polished seat. checked for leaks both fuel and vacuum.
