winter riding

this is my first winter riding the spree, is there anything i should do to get it ready for the winter/i live in new england so it gets down to like 10 degrees....thanks.........

I spent several years stationed at NAS Brunswick, Maine.
Get a four wheel drive ANYTHING.....you're going to need it.
Check back in the spring and let us know you're still alive.

i think a custom windshield will help out tremendously...keep the wind off your core.
the only part that gets cold for me are my hands and neck/chin...other than that it's easy to cover with warm wind blocking clothes.
sheets of lexan (from home depot) are cheap and easy to bend with a heat gun.
I'd probably undertake this project if i wasn't leaving for the Philippines for the bulk of the winter vacation.

30 Degree Ride

Took the spree for a little ride today in 30 degree weather @ 30mph. I have a open face helmet with a face shield, wore a jacket and gloves, and it felt really good. It was only a 4 mile round trip but it was fun. I figure I better get my riding in before it snows and I'm out of luck!
