Here's my latest project at completion. I am currently working on three, yes I said 3 1984 Gyros at the same time and that will take me about 6-8 months to put them back into mint condition. When I picked up my last GYRO in KC Missouri from an older gentleman his wife asked me if I would be interested in HER 1984 Spree with only 102 ORIGINAL MILES !!!. It had been sitting in her garage for 26 years unused and needed a lot of work. I bought it along with the GYRO and made that my first project and now it is done. I have been working on it since October 2010 and LITERALLY tore it down to the frame and completely went through the motor even though it is essentially new. It runs flawlessly and looks great. So now I have a basically NEW 1984 Spree as well. Comments welcome. And thanks to the forum member last year that sold me the battery cover that snaps on top of the battery box that covers the battery...now you know what bike it was for...
enjoy guys !!!

They need to open up a museum just so you can display your mint classics. Awesome work once again.

Greetings:
I dunno if they had digital pics in 1984, but if they did, that's the best explanation for the appearance of this scooter. Tastes vary, but no doubt about the Fantastic clean-up, Dawg! This is the type of Spree that fetches top dollar in the Spring.

Shabbabear;
BEAU-T-FUL, dude- if you lived closer to me I would buy you a beer! That's a fantastic job dude, and I really like the checkerboard scheme, it goes great with the wheels and bright red.
It's amazing to see your restos because they do not look like restos; they look like un-crated NEW Honda scooters on the showroom floor!
Amazing.... And looking more forward to seeing your Gyro builds, x3.
Do you want to come over to my house and teach me about restoring my NS50?
Thanks for sharing your pics, bro- I have been looking over them over and over and over.
Too freaking cool... Jon
