strange noise

i have strange noise coming from the drive train, i thought it was the chain and then when i got the cd from jerry(which i recommend getting)i discovered there is a belt not a chain/it sounds like a klanking as if a chain was to loose and was hitting the casing, it gets louder when i give it gas, any ideas...

possably the clutch. or bearings.
