Do any companies make a complete aftermarket pipe for a spree? I know that fatty pipes are the thing to get for pocketbikes, does anyone make any tuned pipe for a spree?

Any good sites for performance parts? Replacement parts, gaskets, rings?

None exist, although you can fit a pocketbike exhaust onto the Spree downtube if you have a saw and a welder. An example was posted in tech docs by me about a year ago.

Go look in Advanced tech docs for the exhaust discussion.

OR...you can just toss the spree engine and install a elite engine which they do have a gang of different mufflers for. Thats what I did.

what is involved in swapping to an elite engine? There is one for sale on Craigslist for 150 near me. Is it a total hack job?

no, if you do it right. you gotta fab or modify an elite mount and relocate the shock mount.

depends... not every elite engine is good. the sb50 is the same as the spree. and the elite se50 is like the aero 50. and the elite s is the dio...
