I am trying to find a front leg shield for my Honda Melody but its like no other honda melody anywhere!
Can you help me identify it and look for parts
its a 1985 Honda NB50 ME according to the registration documents but I cannot find parts anywhere. Is it the same as a Spree/Elite?

Nope, the 1985 Aero has turn signals on the leg protectors.

its a melody. to the best of my knowledge, it lacks a cvt just like the spree. its parts are unique to itself as far as i know. European version of the spree...again, to the best of my knowledge.

Greetings:
That belt cover is unlike any I've seen. I have not examined the U.S. Aeros, but since the kicker rolls forward, it's a single-reduction transmission, like the Spree/SB. Could this be the elusive Variated Spree - AKA "Pal" in some markets?
I agree, more pics! Also, what is the Engine Code stamped on the rear gearcase cover?

Definitely not too similar to an early aero50, those have the turn signals on the luggage racks, both front and rear. Although motor scooter guide does say that the aero50 was released other places with the "Melody" name, looks more like the late ones, but i dont have one to compare. Does it have a CVT?

Greetings:
Honda-san tailored the styling to the tastes of each market. Plastic is cheap and easy to modify for a big manufacturer cranking out thousands of examples. The Heavy Parts cost considerably more, so the same engines can be found in a multitude of different-looking scooters. Witness the Aeros and Elites that shared the Variated SE/05 block for years. Melody, Vision, Met-In, Tact, Harmony, Pal... who knows what's hangin' under the fender. Have a look at the engine code. Judging from the width of the clutch cover, I'm guessing this is a variated belt. The engine spins "backwards", so it's an early design.
