haha i put my moped back together with scrapped parts. old rings old SCORED to junk piston.... no base gasket, 2 head gaskets... ghetto wire brushed jug.. bad bent spark plug, no gas, no oil, barely even an engine. then i proceeded to hook up the electronics. since i had a dead battery, i hooked that up to the john deere; so i had a mess of wires going everywhere. pushed the yellow button of start death. wee wee wee EEEEEEEEEEEE NOO WAI IT WORKS!!!!! i put on all the plastic and it went 4O mph because the governor fell out.
maybe not 40, but it still ran.

i was going to say there is no real govener on thos they are in the cdi unit.

sooo basickly if i just boght rings and putt all the scored peices back togerther it would run again

Yow... I'm all for doing things in a backyard sort of way, but d***... That scooter is running on spit and wishes. Congratulations on getting it going.
