Hello :o
so my scooter is good up to like 3/4 throttle (it'll make it to 30ish flat.. 35 downhill lol) but when i open the throttle all the way it just seems to bog down O_o i mean, not too much, but some. i tried taking off the air filter or adjusting the mixture but nothing really changes it. is this just how sprees work? seems odd :p

thanks :D

the mixture adj. screw has no effect on 3/4 or above throttle. the main jet is the culprit at that position. could be time for a good carb cleaning. step by step instructions can be found here

could also be experiencing bad belt or possibly variator rollers.

Not to much info in your post.

How the * are we suppose to troubleshoot something with no facts, like year of scooter, model of scooter and any mods to the scooter. Oh and did this just start suddenly, come on over a period of weeks or what? Image

facts? FACTS?.......... Bear, you won two national championships and set 3 national speed records. You should be able to use your god like wisdom to fix his scooter from across the country just by knowing its broken!

Greetings:

An internal combustion engine that runs better with the throttle slightly closed is probably running too lean a main jet, has something obstructing fuel flow, or is suffering from a small vacuum leak. Presuming the main is stock and hasn't been altered, the advice to clean the carb was good. Inspect and correctly oil the air filter element - see the Service Manual section.

It's a Good Idea to post up your Scooter's Vital Scootistics in your signature or in the post if you want more specific help.
