There's almost zero after market parts for a Spree. It's really a pit bike for flatlanders, like a Honda Monkey bike. I liked mine mostly because it only weighed about 80lbs and I could put it in my back seat with no help. But it's a bit of a turkey for performance, and there's not a lot that you can do to improve it.Tythescooterguy wrote:I want to get after market parts but have no cule where to get them on the web.

Actually JJ is totally wrong. Contact forum member tazland001 via PM on the forum here. He has BBK (big Bore Kits) for the Spree plus a high performance intake system and aftermarket gears all for the Spree. He is working on a performance exhaust too. He will give you a discount for buying thru the forum over his flea-bay prices (he does not have to pay them).

Haha! Anything "He is working on" is just pie in the sky and you're wasting your time! It's still a Spree and it still has Monkey-bike front forks & 2-inch brakes. Sprees make an OK pit bike, but that's about it.Bear45-70 wrote:Actually JJ is totally wrong. He is working on a performance exhaust too.

And I originally used my 1985 Spree as a pit bike from 1985 until I was forced to quit racing in 1995. But I still have it and use it for Post Office runs and stop and rob runs. It works just fine for what it was intended.JJ Joseph wrote:Haha! Anything "He is working on" is just pie in the sky and you're wasting your time! I love Sprees. They're one of my favorite scooters. You can pick them up and carry them, no problem. How can you not like the cute little things, even tho they're almost useless. If I was lost on a desert island, I'd be OK as long as I had a Spree (with a kick-start). Not one that doesn't have a kick-start.Tythescooterguy wrote:why the * is this jj guy in the forums if he dosnt like sprees
