How to tell if auto lube is working...

I'm worried that the autolube on a recently aquired Aero 50 isn't working. How to I tell?
I might be disabling it down the road anyway, but for now I'd like to make sure.
Also, how exactly do I go about disabling it? Just unhook the oil tank, plug the hole and premix?

With the engine idling, unplug the oiler from manifold. You should get a drop every 5-10 seconds.
To disconnect, just cap all the lines and run premix.

Cool, I'll check it tonight after I do my carb rebuild.
How to bleed the line?

Probably really simple, but I haven't done maintenance much. If I disconnect the oil line....how does one "bleed" the air from it?
'86 Spree....Not yet running.

If you just disconnect the oil line from the manifold to see if oil is coming out you do not have to go through the whole process of bleeding the lines.
On the other hand if oil does not come out when the engine is running then you may have air in the lines. Then you will have to bleed the air from the lines.

An easy way to see is to run premix and your injector at the same time. Put a piece of tape where the oil level is and burn through a tank or two. IF the oil level drops the injectors are working.

yea but if you did that and it wasn't working you could burn up your moped

That is why you run premix at the same time. Running a little rich on the oil will not hurt anything during the couple tanks you use.
