Picked it up off Craigslist this morning for $50, No Keys and no paperwork.
Already took it to the DMV to start the process of getting a bonded title for it.
Cant wait to start working on it.
The lock for the seat was removed at some point in time, I dont know what if anything is in the side panel compartment as it's still locked.
The air filter housing has a big hole in t that doesn't look factory, It's got Oil in the tank and I don't know how long it's been since it ran.

Killer deal! I'll never tire of folks who pick up and restore old scooters. Seeing new owner's fun and creativity. Here's to happy times:thumbwink:
That generation of Aero's is well represented here, search around and check out zr50-blank for sure, and many others. They are headturners. I think Honda put a lot of goodies in that model, Front and side storage, timeless style, great colors plus 'go' it is arguably the 'Cadillac' of Honda's US 50cc scooters in it's day.

Took the bike to the car wash and a friend and I washed the mud off. It was super dirty.
Washed everything except the cowl with the box in it, I dont know if there is anything inside the box and I dont want to destroy any possible paperwork contained within.
Current list of known broken hardware:
Airbox
Turn signal switch (It has a screw jammed in it!

)
Tail light
Speedometer.
Missing hardware:
Glovebox Lock
Seat Lock
Bonus hardware:
Stack of washers bolted to the front of the bike below the logo.

Try putting that stack of washers under the front cover. The PO was trying to make up for a spacer that is missing under the cover.

Not bad at all. I wish there were more scooters for that price where I am. Good buy.
