spree fans unite
u know its funny i thoght i was the only spree fan out there. i work in a scooter shop, and i really like the old sprees, expresss, aeros, etc. and i dont think anyone understands why, lol. its just something about them thats sweet. maybe its the shamelessly dated design. its so...cool. yeah they only go 30~ but its a spree. i had the great opportunity to ride a couple expresses, too, and man, what a great ride. its simplistic, but fun, and zipping around on it is a blast, especially since ppl dont see mopeds everyday, and everyone stares at me like im nuts
of couse the latex shop gloves and goofy chinese "helmet" dont help my image much, which i like. id like to get some glasses goggles too, so i can havea complete outfit. but anyway, sorry about my tangent, like i was gonna post, its nice to see other ppl out there that grasp the spree concept. makes me feel less alone in my enjoyment of slow but fun scooters.

You came to the right place. I understand what you are saying completely. It is pretty fun to ride around on a spree. Usually when I go somewhere, I get stopped by someone and hear their story about a spree they drove or owned. Who knew these little scooters could bring so much joy and entertainment???
I have a 1985 honda spree it is in mint cond. yea it has 4500 miles on it but it is still going very well. i have had it for 2 years now. i got
from a old guy who lives around the corner from me. when i got it it had about 3000 miles on it. i have comstomize it. it has harly davision turn singles and it has neon under it and a comstom seat. in the spring it will have a K&N filter on it. i have found that a split fire spark plug works very well for the spree. it gives you more HP. i went 30MPH on it now it goes 35MPH. just go to murrys or avanced auto parts and ask about it. 8)

Doesn't seem like there is any cross reference for our NGK BPR plugs...
