can someone explain to me how the automatic clutch works?

it's called a centrifugal clutch, it's used in weedwhackers, chainsaws etc... Pretty simple yet it works great.
How it works is there is.... oh wait im terrible at explaining things...

The centrifugal force of the engine spinning stretches a clutch spring or springs and at a certain rpm the outward centrifugal force is great enough for the clutch springs to stretch and let the clutch shoes hit your clutch bell resulting in forward propulsion.
