bore kit

has anyone ever had a sen chen bore kit? i got a 50mm bore kit and was wondering if its an ok brand

use a flex hone in it first to chamfer the ports. go both ways so you get both sides of the ports. also make sure the borttom of the piston skirt has a nice angle on it on the cylinder wall side so it can grab oil on the down stroke. doing all that will lessen the chance of those taiwan bores from seizing.

Vdub, I would but i got a mini stroke crank with my bore currently on. Though I was thinking of picking up that bore kit from red.

wouldnt the ministroke make the mhr that much more powerful?

they can. On my race bike i use a ruima 54 stroker bore and it got to 435deg F at one point at wot in a race and ran between 400-435. the only thing is that it lasted only for that weekend and worn out the rings and piston. tune to about 385deg F at wot and you should be fine. run premix and good oil.

not bolt on. you have to port and adjust to get the timing right. the mhr was ment to run with a stock stroke. putting a mini stroke crank in to run with the mhr will have better lowend but thats about it.
